Background

The Jubail Emergency Committee JAMA’A was established in 1983, The first specialized voluntary committee to combat industrial and petrochemical fires and respond to emergencies in Jubail Industrial Area. SABIC put forward the idea first to the Security and Safety Committee and was discussed with the representative of the Royal Commission and Civil Defense in Jubail in 1981 before any of the factories started production in the region.

The Problem Area / Objectives/ Why this Application was Developed

To protect the lives, property and economic gains in Jubail Governorate from the risks of fire and industrial disasters and reduce the losses by the following:

  • Coordinating around the clock to provide necessary assistance to any affected member requesting assistance.
  • Having a system of communications that includes all members and provide the necessary equipment.
  • Work to standardize the main firefighting equipment for members to enable the assistance.
  • Unifying the process of requesting aid, receiving and activating it and the procedures for doing so.
  • Urge all members to perform drills to simulate the reality of readiness and capability of responding members.
  • Provide qualified observers for each scheduled drill and prepare a detailed report of the drill results.

The Scope of Work

  • User can sign up
  • After successfully sign up, company will request a membership from JAMA’A
  • If JAMA’A will approve the request user can register company details
  • Registered company can send SOS in case of emergency
  • As soon as the SOS will send siren will be activated in every member’s mobile
  • SOS send with User Current location and sort message with description about emergency.
  • Siren will run up to 30 seconds
  • Siren’s volume will be gradually increased.
  • Member’s can see the fire safety equipment and view it’s details
  • Member’s can contact the fire equipment company to purchase the equipment
  • Member will get notify with push notification on mobile whenever company update new or latest equipment for safety and get latest news regarding safety rules and policy and trending
  • Member can contact to JAMA'A for any query related to platform or application.

In any emergency member will press the S.O.S after entering the password member can request a help by describe the issue. S.O.S with geo location and short description will be sent to all members.

Emergency Requirement

Every member will get notification siren it rings for 30 to 6o seconds and the volume of siren will gradually increase. Member can contact the needy person by click on notification and can read it contact details.
